(Editor's note: Sometime in the near future, I'll be revamping the Faulking Truth website, adding some new features while still keeping the cutting edge, outspoken commentary that we've been known for since 1994. Among the things we'll be adding is a space to post some of the articles and videos that speak to the issues we write about every week. I've done this for years with my personal mailing list, it's time to share that with our readers. Here's a video to get everyone started, along with me comments.)
Why is it that the Tea Party has been trashing Obama about spending, when it's the past three Republican presidents were the ones who ran up the debt? The debt stayed at around $1 trillion for decades, then Reagan tripled it (running up more debt than all the presidents in history COMBINED), Bush One added to it, and Bush Two sent it the stratosphere. Now Obama is stuck with the interest on the debt run up by Reagan, Bush, and Bush and the cost of the wars Bush started, along with an economy that collapsed during Bush's regime. How can the Tea Party and other so-called fiscal conservatives deny the facts, which is that Republican presidents are responsible for bankrupting America. Figures don't lie. ~ Mark Faulk
