So, you’re still sitting there, feeling all comfy and cozy about Lamont’s flailing of Lieberman in the primaries…and thinking this win is only a tiny precursor to the smashing victory that’s coming the Democrats’ way in November? Well, forget about it. Oh, don’t get me wrong. I wanted to see Lieberman deposed as much as anyone. I’m just not feeling very trusting of his victorious opponent, Ned Lamont, who spent four million of his own money on the campaign…and vowed total support of Israel, even though he ran on an anti-war platform. I suppose what really surprises me most…even more than watching the brain-dead flag-wavers adding an eighteenth magnetic ribbon to their car…or listening to the religious zealots continuing to claim holy war (an oxymoron, in itself) is the Democratic loyalists who continue to delude themselves with dreams of justice and fair play. Obviously, these people have grown up on fairy tales and Hollywood movies, where in the end, the hero and heroine ride off together into the sunset, having saved the world for truth, justice and the American way. Well, at least the American way. Do you not see what has happened to your country? Do you not realize where all of this is going? I can understand those who have walked away out of apathy and I admire those who fight on…but to think that there’s some silver lining in all of this is simply ignoring the reality. Most congressmen from both parties have been long since bought and paid for. The war is not going to end but is, in fact, priming up for the next phase. I’ve seen story after story about the action in Lebanon and now, the U.N. ceasefire…but have seen no one, including the host of Internet bloggers, take notice of the larger strategy. While everyone was dismayed by Israel’s merciless bombing campaign against Lebanon’s infrastructure, they chalked it all up to the interdiction of Hzb Allah’s resupply of rockets or a punishing encouragement for the Lebanese government to expel the Islamic guerillas. Although their points are well taken, what I was seeing is Israel’s preparation of it’s left flank for a confrontation with Syria. Although the IDF surprised everyone with a poor showing against the guerillas of Hbz Allah (smells like fish heads and rice to me), in most of it’s history against conventional forces, it has proved itself most worthy. Take note that Sharon was Patton…and Patton was Jackson…“Stonewall” Jackson, that is. All of these generals’ exceptional battlefield accomplishments were based on speed and maneuver. Tie ‘em down on one side and flank ‘em on the other…or as Patton reportedly said, “Hold ‘em by the nose and kick ‘em in the ass.” Jackson was the master, if not the American father of the maneuver, as Lee consistently found himself beset by superior numbers of Federal forces, as he did at Chancelorsville. Caught in an “un-escapable trap (Union General Joe Hooker had already notified Lincoln of the assured victory), Bobby Lee committed the unthinkable act of dividing his forces, (again) and sent Jackson’s entire infantry corps (again) on a fourteen mile flanking maneuver, around the enemy’s right. Although Jackson feared that the Yanks had seen the dust or heard his “foot cavalry”, the Federals were caught totally by surprise when deer and rabbits came flushing out of the woods…followed by Stonewall’s entire corps, which “rolled up” the Federal line, until darkness befell the battlefield. The purpose of this brief history lesson is to make the point that Israel’s left flank of Lebanon, is now “tied down”, its major bridges having been blown away and its gas stations destroyed. Closed, if you will, to any serious threat of an opposing action through that corridor, if Israel moves against Syria anytime soon. Action in that theater will more than likely coincide with the US engaging Iran, no matter where the first shots are fired. This war is likely to begin within three months, foreshadowing Congressional elections and being precipitated by a major “terrorist” attack (quite possibly with a “backpack” or “suitcase” nuclear devise) detonating within the US or Israel and will escalate over the next three years, wreaking ruination on both the Zionists and Islamists militaries and civilians, alike. Other than the obvious Middle Eastern theater, several regional wars…including Cuba and Venezuela, will also be fought, eventually compelling all nations and peoples to concede their sovereignty, turning over all authority (and weapons of mass destruction) to a global governmental body of “salvation”, the New World Order. Think I’m crazy? Well, get in line. No one, including myself wants to face up to what is really happening…and I sincerely hope that my timing is completely wrong…but I’m afraid it’s not. Whether these days of reckoning begin the twenty-second of August, or any other particular day, it is going to happen…and happen soon. (Incidentally, notice the symbol on the placard, in background.) This administration is running out of time…and even though a newly elected, Diebold Democrat would certainly follow in the footsteps (or should I say, “boot prints”) of this administration, I just can’t believe that ole Dick would let them have all the fun. Is August 22 the “big one”…or should I say, the little one that starts the big one. Oh, I hope not. I can’t afford a global war right now. But whether it begins the twenty-second or some other date in the near future, I do fear it’s coming soon.
