- You've Been had....Again!

Have you noticed lately that some of those Bush voters are beginning to act a little strangely? I know what you're thinking...most of them were pretty strange to begin with...right? Well, they probably think the same about us...but you know the ones I'm talking about. The ones who became oh so very quiet, after Bush began his second term with radical changes that twisted a screw into their little life, not just the lives of "those liberals". These poor "believers" who wanted that tax break so bad are now watching the deficit grow like a cancer, spreading it's disease throughout the overall economy. These "religious rightists" that somehow deluded themselves into believing that killing a hundred thousand infidels is doing "God's work", while three more American soldiers and a 28 year old female aid worker died in Iraq, this weekend. These honest Americans that denied that the war was all about oil and can't seem to understand, now that the Iraqi oil is back on line, why their gasoline prices are going through the roof.
I'm sure the President's new Social Security plan is also a part of their recently shying demeanor. Even many of the "believe anything he says" crowd lifted an eyebrow when their leader decided to gamble their safety net in the stock market. The neo-cons introduced this brain storm when Bush first took power but put it on the back shelf when the market crashed along with the towers, after 9/11, giving the A.D.D.ed Americans a couple of years to forget about it...then pulled it back out, just as soon as things quieted down. Unfortunately for the Administration, the still volatile market suffered another strong negative "correction", last week, just as the President was telling everyone what a really good deal it was. The reality is, only the stupid that believes everything he says and truly greedy still believe in this plan. They seem to be more concerned with making money for themselves than securing the retirement of their own parents.
The new bankruptcy bill will prove another problem for these "true believers", when it comes into play. It should have been a big clue for them, when it became known that the credit card banks were the driving force behind the legislation. These "money changers" that claim they are losing money (their profits actually increased 168% last year) are charging over 25% interest, in some cases. That's criminal, any way you slice it...but let's not forget the hospitals, either. They want their money, too! In this case, it seems many of their patients with major medical insurance are having to take bankruptcy because THE DAMN HOSPITAL BILLS ARE SO OUTRAGEOUS that even middle class families can't come up with the twenty percent.
I am so tired of hearing about people going on spending sprees with the premeditated intent of filing bankruptcy and I'm tired of hearing about people getting to keep big mansions because of homestead exemptions. Yes, some people do get away with cheating the system but it is much more rare than common... and if the truth was known, the laws are already in place to prevent this activity (Must be those activist bankruptcy judges). I would agree, the system needed to be tweaked but once again, this Administration took advantage of the lazy ignorance of the American people...and once again, it will be the little guy that takes the hit.
All I can say is "You've been had, again, you fools"! Unfortunately, you "true believers" will only realize it when they take YOUR family home and YOUR car that takes you to work. Under this new law, they will be able to take everything you have!
For some reason, I'm beginning to feel like I've been mugged...after being raped!
