After weeks of arguing about John Kerry's war record - Is it better than George Bush's? (Answer: yes, at least he has a war record.)
After weeks of debating whether or not he deserved his medals. (Again, the answer is: yes, according to an investigation by the Navy Inspector General.)
After weeks of arguing about Bush's stint (or lack thereof) in the National Guard. (Answer: you'll never know, because we destroyed the evidence.)
After weeks of debating whether or not Dan Rather is a pompous asshole (I could have answered that in two words, and saved everyone a lot of time and effort: Answer: he is)
After wasting everyone's time for the past two months with the tactics of diversion, we are just now beginning to talk about the real issues: Bush's mishandling of the economy, the environment, the war, terrorism, education, and on and on and on. And Kerry's record in the senate, and how he would handle the same issues that Bush has failed so miserably on.
My advice to everyone: IGNORE THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA! They are idiots and buffoons, and have lost touch with the American people. If you want to find out the real story, do google searches on the internet on the issues, read the independant online websites that you like, and spread the word yourself to every corner of the universe.
